The hostel "VCentre" fully corresponds to its name, because it is located literally a minute's walk from Nevsky Prospect and Gostiny Dvor metro station. We opened in mid-June 2024 in a historic building on 22/2 Sadovaya Street, and during the renovation we provided everything for the convenience of our guests. You can rent a bed in cozy rooms for 6, 8 and 10 guests. We have equipped separate rooms for men and women and a mixed room, which is perfect for those who travel with their significant other. We are Bright to cheer you up from the first minutes of your stay in St. Petersburg and brighten the gray city with colors. We are Modern, so we have everything you may need to feel comfortable during your stay. Air conditioning, washing machine and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, iron, boiler, hair dryer, Wi-Fi access. Do you need something else? Just contact the administrator and we will try to solve everything. We are Nearby. With the main sights and the legendary St. Petersburg bridges, the metro and the main street of the city, clubs and restaurants. We are here for you. We want you to feel comfortable, safe and cozy at our place. So far we are only at the beginning of the journey, so we will be very happy to receive feedback. We are ready to get better so that you come to stay at out hostel again and again.

Terms of stay

In accordance with the Law of St. Petersburg of June 28, 2023, No. 419-81 "On Introduction of Resort Fee in the Territory of St. Petersburg", a resort fee is levied in the territory of St. Petersburg from April 1, 2024.

People over 18 years of age who plan to stay in accommodation facilities for more than 24 hours are obliged to pay the resort fee upon check-in in the amount of 100 rubles per day per person.

21 privileged categories of citizens are exempt from paying the resort fee, including veterans, disabled people of 1-2 groups, students of St. Petersburg universities, members of large families and others.

If there is a privilege, residents must have the original document confirming the existence of the privilege or a duly certified copy of it.

Please note that if you cancel your reservation less than a day before arrival, the hostel does not refund the payment for the first day of your stay.

Cancellation policy

These rules establish the procedure for booking, settlement, accommodation and provision of services at the hostel "VCentre".

Term of hotel accommodation

1. The hostel is intended for the temporary accommodation of persons for a period agreed with the hotel management. After the expiry of the agreed period of accommodation, the guest must vacate the room. If the accommodation period needs to be extended, the accommodation provider must be notified thereof at least 2 hours prior to the 12 noon local time deadline. If rooms are available, the receptionist will extend the stay.

2. The working hours of the hostel "VCentre" are 24/7.

3. Accommodationшт the hostel "VCentre" is carried out in accordance with the check-out time system:

  • Check-in time: from 14:00 local time
  • Check-out time: by 12:00 local time

4. If the Guest agrees with these rules and is registered t the hostel "VCentre", the contract for the provision of hotel services is considered concluded.

Accommodation of guests and payment of accommodation:

1.1. Accommodation is provided to Russian citizens upon presentation of a valid identity document according to the requirements of Russian legislation — the Russian internal passport. Russian citizens can be accommodated with a foreign passport only if they permanently reside outside the Russian Federation and provide documents proving their permanent residence in the territory of another country.

1.2. Accommodation is provided to foreign citizens and stateless persons upon presentation of a valid travel document certifying their identity, a migration card and a visa (if the guest is a citizen of a country with which the Russian Federation has a visa regime).

1.3. Accommodation is provided to the foreign citizens who arrive to St. Petersburg by ferry without a visa on presentation of a valid travel document, ID card and group tourist program;

1.4. To check-in minors without parents/legal guardians, a notarised power of attorney from the parents/legal guardians is required, confirming the authority of the accompanying person. Registration of minors over 14 years of age at the hostel in the absence of their legal representatives is made on the basis of the minors' identity documents, provided the consent of their legal representatives (one of them) is provided. The birth certificate is required for children under the age of 14 years old, and an internal Russian passport when they reach 14 years old.

2.The fees for accommodation and services at the hostel shall be charged according to the free (contractual) prices in effect at the time of reservation, approved by the management of In The Centre Hostel and charged according to the check-in time of 14:00 local time of the current day. For stays of less than a day (24 hours), the payment is charged per day, regardless of the time of arrival and departure.  

3. Extension of stay beyond the booked and paid time shall be charged as follows:

  • 12:00 to 23:00 – at the rate of 50% of the room's rate.
  • 23:00 to 12:00 the following day – 100% of the room's rate.

4.  Early check-in from 0:00 to 14:00 is available for an additional fee at the rate of 50% of the first night. 

5. All payments shall be made in Russian rubles. Cash and main types of debit and credit cards of international payment systems are accepted: VISA, VISA Electron, MC, Master Card Electronic, МИР, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club International, Discover, JCB.

6. Children up to and including 13 years of age are not allowed. Children over 14 years of age can be accommodated in a separate place.

7. Non-residential guests are not allowed to stay in the rooms.

8. Discounts (seasonal discounts, special offers) are provided only from the open tariff for direct booking through the hotel (without the services of booking / travel companies); discounts are not cumulative; discounts are provided only for accommodation.

9. A room key will be issued upon presentation of a Guest Card.

10. If a guest is late or in case of late cancellation of the reservation (less that 24 hours prior to the first day of booking), the charge will be for the actual room stay, but not more than one night. If a guest is late by more than one day, the reservation will be cancelled.
